Celebrating 15 Years + Winter Travel 2025

Turns out we're a little late to our own party! This year, Gray & Co. celebrates 15 years of crafting private active trips around the world. Over the years, we've produced bespoke adventures on six continents—from riding camels in Morocco and biking past temples in Japan to hiking Spain's Camino, Highland dancing in Scotland, bear spotting in Alaska, kayaking in New Zealand, and washing elephants in Laos. And that’s just a few of the amazing and immersive experiences we make happen! Wow!

This winter, consider a custom, active escape with your friends, family, or colleagues to the Southern Hemisphere. Favourite gathering, reunion, celebration, getaway, retreat and "just because" destinations include Australia, South Africa, Cambodia and Argentina—to name a few. Let's go!

Cheers, Cari

IN THE PRESS: AFAR Media

Blane Bachelor of AFAR Media quotes Cari in her article, "The Uncrowded Destinations Where Travel Advisors Are Quietly Sending Their Clients" Says Gray: “'Some of the most lovely and exciting destinations in the world are also iconic, so it’s no wonder they often top the list for most savvy travelers, but luckily there are still places that are less ‘discovered’,' says Cari Gray, CEO and owner of Gray & Co., a company that specializes in high-end, custom travel. Some of her favorite recent recommendations for clients craving an uncrowded getaway: Menorca, Spain; northern Greece; and Lapland."

Guide Christian is a convert to gravel cycling—a mix of paved and unpaved roads and trails. Read on for some of his top spots. His all-time gravel fave? "Tuscany...to ride the same roads as the spring pro peloton racers—and to eat my fill of prosciutto!"

JUST BACK FROM: Sardinia & Corsica

After 15 years at Gray & Co., producer Carolyn has a new favourite destination! Well, two! The islands of Corsica and Sardinia are separated by a mere 115 nautical miles, yet seem worlds apart in culture, food and overall vibe. Sardinia highlights included biking the Maddalena & Caprera islands, riding horses near Porto Cervo, kayaking among limestone cliffs, and eating at the chef-owned Petra Segreta hotel. On Corsica, Carolyn was dazzled by the clifftop 9th-century Corsican citadel of Bonifacio, island bikes and hikes passing waterfalls and granite peaks of the L’Ospedale forest. Best place to sleep? Grand Hotel de Cala Rossa and Belmond's Romazzino are her top beachside retreats. Click here to learn more!
